Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial tractor and trailer bodies, systems, and components while performing preventative maintenance on fleet semi-trucks. Inspect hubs and axles, replace tires, and check brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements are met. Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and respond promptly to client queries during mobile road calls or in-yard work. Requires 5+ years of commercial tractor and trailer repair experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 100+ pounds. Earn up to $700 bi-weekly with efficiency bonuses and work a Monday through Friday schedule with rotating on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of verified experience of Commercial Tractor and Trailer repair experience
- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift 100+ pounds
- Basic Computer Skills to submit repairs for billing
- Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks
- Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders
