Job Summary

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial tractors and trailers, including semi-truck bodies, hubs, axles, tires, brakes, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Perform preventative maintenance measures and inspecting, servicing, and replacing parts while ensuring trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements. Write detailed work orders for mobile road calls and in-yard jobs, compile inspection reports, and document repairs. Respond promptly to client queries and test all equipment for performance issues. Maintain a M-F schedule with rotating on-call duties, earning up to $700 bi-weekly with efficiency bonuses.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of verified experience of Commercial Tractor and Trailer repair experience
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift 100+ pounds
  • Basic Computer Skills to submit repairs for billing
  • Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks
  • Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders
