Job Summary
Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections, diagnostic tests, and preventive maintenance schedules for production and facility assets. Troubleshoot breakdowns, repair major assemblies including power and drive trains, electrical, and hydraulics systems, and perform machine shop operations. Adjust alignments, verify performance via test drives, and ensure compliance with federal and state safety standards. Maintain records, inventory supplies, and manage parts orders while keeping shop equipment operational. Travel to branch locations as needed using the company service truck.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to travel to different branch locations as needed using company provided service truck
- May require occasional overnight stay
- Must have electrical and drivability diagnostic experience
- 1-3 years of Mechanic experience of Diesel and Gas engines for on-highway vehicles
- Light/Medium/Heavy Duty Vehicle & Trailer Repair Experience
- Off-Highway equipment experience such as front-end loaders, skid steers, mini excavators, forklifts
- Experience in performing Annual Federal DOT Inspections
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
- Must maintain company standards post-employment for background checks, criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Certified
- Class A CDL
