Job Summary
Mobile Equipment Technician duties include maintaining and repairing plant mobile equipment, reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, and performing 12/24-volt electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system work. Requires safe operation of all shop tools and plant equipment, tool ownership, ability to work with minimal supervision, and occasional on-call responses nights/weekends/holidays. Will train junior technicians, document work in the maintenance software, and adhere to safety and waste guidelines. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read drawings are essential; English (and additional language skills) beneficial. Wage range: $32-$38/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years of mechanical experience with off-highway and on-highway plant mobile equipment
- Valid state Class A CDL
