Job Summary
Repair mobile mining equipment by conducting scheduled preventative maintenance, troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems, and performing welding, fabrication, and flame cutting. Coordinate with external vendors for emergency part deliveries, manage special order parts inventory, and handle computer tasks for time cards and parts issuance. Act as fill-in team leader when management is unavailable and train junior technicians on repairs and safety procedures. Participate in sustainable improvement processes including 5S, Kaizen, and Total Productive Maintenance. This role progresses from Technician 1 to Technician 4 based on skill development in an outdoor mining environment with overtime, weekend, and holiday availability.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in English
- Advanced mechanical skills

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience with industrial mobile equipment
- Formal trade training
- Physical capabilities: lifting (up to 50 lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs.)
