Job Summary
Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck), skid steers, and other heavy equipment. Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers. Move materials within the warehouse, yard, or construction sites. Perform daily equipment inspections, basic maintenance checks, and basic repairs. Follow safety protocols, wear PPE such as hard hat and safety glasses. Maintain accurate inventory or load documentation. Assist with general labor tasks such as cleaning up, site preparation, and keeping the work area hazard-free. Schedules may vary; positions span warehouse, construction, distribution, or industrial environments. Required Qualifications
- Previous experience operating forklifts, skid steers, or heavy equipment
- Valid forklift certification/heavy equipment operator certificate is a plus (may be required for certain roles)
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs, prolonged standing and sitting, push, pull, kneel, bend, and climb
- Adaptability to a strenuous work environment (outdoors, exposed to noise, etc.)
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Must have steel-toed boots
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong Hand-Eye-Foot coordination
