Job Summary
Operate material handlers, front-end loaders, and other equipment to load, unload, and transport scrap metal within the yard. Perform daily maintenance and inspections, identify and process different scrap metal types, and report load details. Meet production goals, maintain a clean and organized worksite, and assist with other tasks as needed. This role requires previous heavy equipment experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Schedule is Monday through Friday with no nights or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
