Mobile Equipment Operator

Job Summary
Direct mobile equipment such as lift trucks, cranes, track mobiles, and yard vehicles to move materials between workstations, receiving, and storage locations in a 24/7 aggregate environment. Operate at least two pieces of equipment including haul trucks, farm tractors, water trucks, backhoes, and front loaders within quarry or production settings. Ensure proper identification of parts and materials while complying with all industry safety rules, procedures, and MSHA regulations. Participate in safety committees or initiatives as assigned. Work in a varied outdoor environment across all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Prompt, regular and predictable attendance
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year of experience
- The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required and lift weights up to 60 pounds
- The ability to work in a varied outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
- Ability to operate at least 2 pieces of mobile equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.)
- Regularly sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing
- Vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Frequent use of hands and arms
- Requires ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs
- Occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching, ascending, and descending stairs or ladders
