Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on ready mix trucks and other mobile equipment. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues and implement effective repair solutions. Inspect equipment to ensure it meets all safety and operational standards and complete scheduled maintenance in a timely manner to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate service, maintenance, and repair records while working collaboratively with operations personnel to prioritize repairs. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations. Requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Full-time position in Pittsburg, PA at $35.24 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment or commercial vehicles
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems using appropriate diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and producing quality work
- Successful completion of a post-offer physical examination
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Successful completion of a background check
