Job Summary
Diagnose malfunctions by reading job orders and listening to equipment, then plan and execute repairs on electric, diesel, and gasoline mobile equipment. Install ignition systems, align wheels, change batteries, replace transmissions, and overhaul engines while inspecting protective guards and safety devices. Lubricate hydraulic systems and attachments per blueprints, perform designated preventative maintenance, and fill out purchase requisitions for parts. Maintain full engagement in "Take control of Safety" initiatives. Requires high school diploma or three years of mobile mechanic experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or 3 years mobile mechanic experience
- Basic math skills
- Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner with attention to detail
