Job Summary
Experienced Mobile Equipment Mechanic responsible for sourcing parts, performing preventative maintenance, and completing moderate repairs on diesel-powered mobile and heavy equipment (LP Forklifts, Skidsteers, Wheel Loader, Excavator, Scissor Lifts, Boom lift). Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues; order required parts; maintain service records; ensure safe, efficient operation; collaborate with operations to minimize downtime; follow health and safety regulations and company procedures. Requires diesel mechanic license, proven repair/maintenance experience, and ability to work independently; AZ/DZ licenses are assets; valid driver’s license required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Diesel Mechanic License
- Proven experience repairing and maintaining mobile or heavy equipment
- Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues efficiently
- Maintains good working relationship with vendors
- Experience sourcing parts and managing repair needs
- Valid driver’s licence required
