Job Summary
Mobile Engineering Manager for Trust & Safety: lead a blended team of 4-6 iOS/Android engineers, embedding across Trust & Safety to design and deliver safety-focused mobile features (reporting, blocking, identity verification, moderation interfaces). Manage goal-setting, performance reviews, mentorship, team health, staffing, and delivery; participate in cross-functional planning; shape a technical roadmap; contribute hands-on production Swift/Kotlin code on smaller projects; uphold quality and reliability standards; drive adoption of AI-powered tooling and modern release processes. Located in New York, NY.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years mobile engineering experience in Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android)
- 3+ years engineering management experience
- Comfortable operating as a player-coach and writing production code when needed
- Experience building consumer-facing mobile features with high UX quality and reliability
- Prior exposure to Trust & Safety, content moderation, or safety-adjacent product areas is a meaningful plus
- Empathetic, direct communicator with team, peers, and stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
