Mobile Engineering Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate mobile (Android/Kotlin) and backend (Java) development teams to ensure on-time delivery with quality, acting as the Scrum Master to facilitate agile ceremonies and remove impediments. Advocate for the engineering perspective during communications with product and design while providing a quality strategy that supports delivery goals. Support developers' career growth through regular feedback and 1:1 meetings, following best development practices to achieve continuous improvement. This role sits within BEES, AB InBev's B2B platform, where the mission is to make commerce better for retailers and sellers globally by building technology that transforms how businesses grow.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in courses related to computing such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, and Systems Analysis and Development
- Previous experience leading development teams
- Solid fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and problem solving
- Experience with backend (Java) and/or mobile (Android/Kotlin) development
- Experience with RESTful services and micro-services
- Advanced knowledge in design patterns and development best practices
- Knowledge of software testing concepts (testability, regression, unit, integration, stress, test automation)
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Experience with Agile projects and Scrum methodology
