Mobile Engineer – Multi-Site Facilities

Job Summary
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, structural, and building systems while traveling between multiple facilities in the Akron, OH area. Conduct preventative maintenance including inspections, cleaning, calibration, and component replacement to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient building operations. Monitor system performance, take readings, and make operational adjustments as needed. Support facility services including maintenance planning, parts usage, and inventory control, while overseeing contractor-performed work to ensure quality and cost effectiveness. Maintain safe work environments by following all safety procedures and properly handling materials. Requires 2–4 years of commercial experience, EPA 608 Type II certification, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of commercial or industrial building maintenance experience
- Strong background in at least one core trade: HVAC, electrical, plumbing/piping, or central plant operations
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and HVAC system issues
- EPA 608 Type II certification required (Universal preferred)
- Valid driver's license required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently across multiple job sites
