Job Summary
Operate, inspect, and maintain all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment in assigned facilities to ensure energy efficiency and minimize downtime. Perform ongoing preventive and repair work on building systems, including interiors, exteriors, roofing, and lighting, while responding effectively to emergencies. Submit management reports detailing found conditions and recommend corrective actions, maintaining compliance with safety procedures and local ordinances. Study building automation and fire/life safety systems daily, recognizing hazards and proposing elimination methods. Support after-hours activities as required and attend periodic training seminars.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state driver's license
- Universal CFC recovery certification
- Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering
- Strong background in technical aspects of packaged HVAC
- Strong background in plumbing electrical equipment repair and maintenance
- Overall system design and application knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
- Ability to climb up to 30 ft ladders
- Willingness and ability to support any after hours building related activity as required
- Must pass background screening
- Must pass drug/alcohol screening
- Must pass MVR screening
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
