Mobile DON (Director of Nursing)

Mobile Director of Nursing (DON) to support 5–6 skilled nursing facilities within the Lima, Ohio region. Provides interim DON leadership, mentorship, and operational support across multiple sites to ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong clinical outcomes. Responsibilities include stabilizing nursing operations during transitions or staffing shortages, assisting with state surveys and audits, monitoring quality metrics and implementing improvement plans, mentoring facility nursing leadership, participating in regional leadership meetings as a clinical resource, and supporting crisis management, including infection control. Travel frequently to assigned facilities within the region. Onboarding of new Directors of Nursing and regular reporting to regional and executive leadership are part of the role.
