Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using diagnostic tools such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows. Perform preventive maintenance on the company fleet of tractors and trailers while conducting DOT inspections per FMCSA guidelines. Maintain physical capability to lift 75 lbs or more and work in various positions to reach equipment. Join a family-owned logistics company with competitive hourly pay ($29–$35), a $2,000 sign-on bonus, and ongoing ASE certification reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Technical or advanced degree or 2 years or more of equivalent maintenance experience
- Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
- Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills
- Physically capable to perform all job duties, which include being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license
