Job Summary
Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and emergency roadside service for Class 6-8 trucks and trailers. Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems using advanced diagnostic tools and hand/power equipment. Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service, road test vehicles to ensure quality standards, and work with vendors to source parts. Take ownership of the company-provided service truck by performing pre- and post-trip inspections while maintaining safety compliance. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, handling chemicals and heavy equipment in high-traffic areas. Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00pm-11:30pm, with competitive pay starting at $34-38/hr.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience working on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers
- DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools
- Must be 23+
- Clean driving record
- Valid driver's license
