Job Summary
Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician role performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a field/mobile environment. On-call 24/7 with a fully equipped company service truck provided. Responsibilities include on-site maintenance, DOT inspections, emergency roadside service, diagnosing electrical, brake, cooling and air systems, using handheld diagnostic tools, hand tools, welding, and road testing to meet safety and quality standards. Requires independent work ethic, strong communication with customers/drivers, and willingness to work outdoors in various conditions. 23+ with a clean driving record and valid license required; benefits include health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and referral bonus.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience working on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers
- DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise
- Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
- Bring your own hand tools and we’ll supply everything else.
