Job Summary
Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician responsible for on-site preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment. Perform DOT inspections, handle emergency roadside service, diagnose electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems using advanced diagnostic tools, test drives to verify repairs, source parts with vendors, and maintain safety-compliant service with a company-provided service truck. Requires independent, self-motivated work in outdoor settings, strong communication with customers, and proficiency with mobile apps and digital tools; full-time, overnight schedule with competitive pay and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers
- DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise
- Strong communication skills with customers and drivers
- Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
