Job Summary
Mobile Diesel Technician II performs DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light-to-heavy duty truck repairs in a mobile/field setting. Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical/ braking/cooling systems, engine electronics, transmissions, and other truck equipment; road testing; managing parts inventory; completing DOT forms; and maintaining vehicle safety checks. The role requires HS diploma or GED (with potential for higher), ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months, DOT/FMCSA compliance, and a valid driver’s license; travel is required in a mobile fleet environment.
