Job Summary
The Mobile Diesel Technician II is responsible for performing licensed DOT inspections, Preventative Maintenance inspections, and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile environment. Key duties include diagnosing and repairing various truck equipment such as engines, electrical systems, transmissions, and conducting safety checks on the service vehicle. The role requires managing parts inventory, documenting repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, three years of relevant experience, and complete specific ASE certifications within 18 months.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field
- Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification T8 (PMI) within eighteen (18) months
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to complete DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical

- ASE T3 (Drivetrain) certification
- ASE T4 (Brakes) certification
- ASE T5 (Suspension) certification
- ASE T6 (Electrical and Electronic Systems) certification
- ASE T7 (HVAC) certification
- ASE 608/609 certification
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must be at least 21 years or older
- Must hold a valid state-of-residence driver's license
- Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
