Job Summary
Join Fleet Services by Cox Automotive as a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II, responsible for performing DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile field environment. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of relevant experience, with opportunities for certification and advancement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to perform required job duties with own set of hand tools
- DOT medical card or pass a DOT physical
Desired Qualifications
- ASE T3 (Drivetrain) certification
- ASE T4 (Brakes) certification
- ASE T5 (Suspension) certification
- ASE T6 (Electrical and Electronic Systems) certification
- ASE T7 (HVAC) certification
- ASE 608/609 certification
