Job Summary

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and advanced diagnostics on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile field environment. Diagnose malfunctions using test instruments, road test vehicles, and independently manage parts inventory and equipment on company-issued service trucks. Document all findings, parts used, and repair orders on the proprietary TRAIT application via iOS device while maintaining company-issued service vehicles and conducting daily safety checks. This role requires 100% travel and variable shifts with an hourly base pay of $32.31 to $48.46 plus a $3,000 new hire bonus. Candidates must hold a valid DOT medical card, possess a clean driving record, and have at least three years of experience in a related field. Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3 years' experience in a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment
  • Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties
  • Candidate must be able to successfully complete and pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening
  • Candidate must successfully complete and pass a DOT physical prior to employment
  • A current and valid DOT medical card with more than four (4) months remaining until its expiration
  • If the DOT medical card has four (4) months or less of validity remaining, a DOT physical will be required
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years or older
  • Safe drivers needed
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Candidate must hold a valid state-of-residence driver's license
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain their Driver Qualification File
  • ASE T8 (PMI) certification
  • ASE 608/609 certification
  • OEM training and certifications
  • Ability to lift, bend, climb, stand, and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to perform moderately heavy laboring work
  • Ability to exert oneself physically over long periods of time without tiring
  • Ability to accurately judge which of several objects is closer or farther away from the observer
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
  • Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline
  • 5 years' experience in a related field
  • ASE T2 (Diesel Engines) certification

  • ASE T4 (Brakes) certification
  • ASE T5 (Suspension) certification
  • ASE T6 (Electrical and Electronic Systems) certification
  • ASE T7 (HVAC) certification

  • ASE L2 (Electronic Diesel Engine Diagnosis Specialist) certification
