Job Summary
On-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs of diesel engines, transmissions, and related components; perform preventative maintenance (oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations); diagnose and repair complex electrical and hydraulic systems; conduct vehicle inspections for safety; clearly explain repairs to clients; maintain detailed service records and adhere to safety standards; full-time on-site/field work with a requirement to relocate to Baton Rouge, LA; 5+ years diesel mechanic experience; strong knowledge of diesel engine systems; valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on diesel mechanic experience
- Strong background diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related components
- In-depth knowledge of diesel engine systems (fuel, emissions, electrical, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Safety-conscious with ability to lift heavy equipment
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Willingness to relocate to Baton Rouge, Louisiana before starting work
