Job Summary
Develop native Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines while ensuring world-class product quality and fluid visual interactions. Collaborate directly with clients to ensure technical feasibility and feature ownership within Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks. Implement robust service-oriented architectures, design patterns, and data structures while mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Maintain performance optimization, observability, and metrics to demonstrate code quality. Work remotely from Morocco or travel 0-15% as project needs dictate, joining a lean, self-organizing team that owns projects collectively in a politics-free environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in native mobile development
- Clear and effective communication, able to express ideas and collaborate efficiently in a team
- Strong English proficiency
- Self-driven, comfortable working with little supervision towards a common team purpose
- Strong experience in Kotlin
- Jetpack Compose proficiency
- Deep knowledge of Coroutines and/or RxJava
- Solid understanding of Software Architecture (MVVM or similar)
- Experience with Android Architecture Components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, etc.)
- Unit testing and UI testing
- Creating fluid visual interactions and implementing modern mobile UX patterns
- Knowledge of performance optimization, observability, and metrics
- Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
- Collaborating directly with clients to ensure technical feasibility and feature ownership
- Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of continuous learning
- Service-oriented architectures, design patterns, and robust data structures
- National and international expected traveling time varies according to project/client and organisational needs: 0%-15% estimated
