Job Summary
Visit long-term care facilities to assist physicians with dental care, maintain clinical records via electronic medical systems, and manage patient flow including wheelchair transport. Efficiently pass instruments, update odontograms, and balance daily production and charge reports. Maintain and clean the treatment area, service dental equipment, and manage supply inventory. Assist with patient education on oral hygiene and process digital radiographs. Requires 100% travel within a 2.5-hour radius and adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and compliance guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or GED
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Good driving record
- Car insurance
- Must have completed and passed a two-step Tuberculosis (TB) Skin Test
- Must have state radiation license or certificate
- Must have good computer skills
- Medical terminology experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to follow directions
- Must be able to listen to needs of patients and doctors
- Requires full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Requires standing, walking, pushing and stooping on a periodic basis
- Frequent lifting requirements vary depending upon specialty division hired for
- Must be able to push patients in wheelchair
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to a normal range
- Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours
- Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must successfully complete a background investigation
- Must successfully complete a drug screen
- Requires travel up to 100% of the time
- Must be willing to service a 2.5 hour radius

- Hepatitis B vaccination
