Job Summary
Mobile Crisis Specialist provides face-to-face, phone, and telehealth crisis response and assessment in a 24/7 program. Responsibilities include rapid crisis assessment, safety planning, de-escalation, linkage to appropriate levels of care, and follow-up, with collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, coordination with law enforcement/EMS when indicated, and thorough documentation. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or four years relevant experience may substitute), driving to community assessments, and ability to work in a PRN, part-time capacity in a nonprofit behavioral health setting. Strong assessment, communication, trauma-informed approach, and knowledge of local crisis resources are essential.
