Job Summary

Provide face-to-face, phone, and telehealth crisis response and assessment services to individuals experiencing mental health crises. Support and link clients to community resources, ensuring thorough documentation of risk assessments and follow-up plans. Deescalate crisis situations and make appropriate referrals for least restrictive treatment while representing Centerstone professionally with external entities. Cover crisis services beyond scheduled hours as assigned, attend team meetings and clinical supervision, and complete required online trainings. Train and assist in onboarding new staff, serve as a mentor, and act as a liaison with community partners. Assist with EHR modifications and serve as a super user. Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work counseling, or a related mental health field
  • Minimum of one year working with individuals in crisis
  • Knowledge of suicide assessments
  • Skill in providing crisis intervention
  • Demonstrates knowledge and competency in the utilization of Centerstone programs and other community resources
  • Demonstrates the ability to deescalate crisis situations
  • Thorough assessment of risk of harm to self or others
  • Make appropriate referrals for least restrictive treatment possible
  • Clinician makes every effort to respond to calls promptly
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods
  • Demonstrates high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette
  • Demonstrate knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources
  • Provide coverage of crisis service beyond scheduled work hour/shifts and as assigned by crisis service supervisors
  • Maintain accurate records of all contacts and enter all data in a timely manner
  • Client's follow-up needs are documented for Team follow-up
  • Represents Centerstone in a professional manner when interacting with external entities
  • Attend all team meetings, clinical supervision and completes online trainings as required
