Mobile Crisis Specialist

Job Summary
Provide immediate support during mental health and substance use crises, utilizing crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques. Conduct initial crisis screenings and safety assessments, including universal suicide screening, then collaborate with patients to develop safety plans and coping strategies. Coordinate with receiving services to determine appropriate care levels and ensure clients are linked with healthcare providers. Complete follow-up care by scheduling outpatient appointments and providing post-crisis follow-up within 72 hours. Work effectively as a team member with Peer Support Specialists and professionals from various disciplines. Requires a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current CPI, BLS, and First Aid certifications. Minimum 25 years of age; background checks required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or 60 hours of credit hours
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and First Aid certification
- A reliable vehicle
- Valid driver's license
- Active auto insurance coverage
- Satisfactory results from criminal and driving record background checks
- Minimum of 25 years of age
