Job Summary

Conduct crisis assessments and provide immediate support to individuals experiencing severe mental illness or substance use disorders across Western North Carolina. Respond to mobile crisis calls in the community and collaborate with EMS to manage high-risk, complex cases requiring 24/7 availability. Connect consumers to appropriate care and follow-up services, serving people of all ages and disabilities. Deliver direct, periodic Mobile Crisis Management services while partnering with community providers to ensure access to emergency care.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in human services or related field
  • 1 year of experience providing crisis management services in the following settings: assertive outreach, assertive community treatment, emergency department or other service providing 24/7 response in emergent or urgent situations
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must complete background checks and credential verification
  • Must pass a drug-free workplace screening
