Job Summary
Respond to calls from communities, family, and Red Rock Out-Patient offices to provide crisis support and stabilization for youth and adults. Develop safety plans to help individuals maintain safety in the least restrictive environment and facilitate high-quality care placements when necessary. Collaborate with URC staff, CSU, transport, licensed mental health professionals, and community providers to support care plans for Red Rock consumers. Complete required paperwork and billing, travel locally approximately 80% of the time to meet face-to-face in safe locations, and maintain core competencies through continuing education on co-occurring disorders. Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and willingness to work a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Current BHCM II Certification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Behavioral Health field
- RN with Behavioral Health Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field and 6 months of Behavioral Health experience
- 60 College credit hours in any field and 12 months of Behavioral Health experience
- HS Diploma or equivalent and 36 months of Behavioral Health experience
- Have demonstrated recovery from a mental health diagnosis, substance abuse disorder or both
- Commitment to the mission of Red Rock BHS
- Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
- Must have the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Must have the ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to travel locally approximately 80% of the time
