Mobile Crisis Counselor - Team Leader (LPC or LSW required)

Job Summary

Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide individual and group counseling to clients using evidence-based, solution-focused, and strengths-based approaches. Deliver crisis intervention and support for emergencies while coordinating resources to ensure client safety. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers through active participation in team meetings, case consultations, and clinical supervision sessions. Maintain accurate clinical documentation including progress notes and treatment plans in accordance with agency policies. Foster a growth-oriented culture by engaging in ongoing professional development and advocating for culturally competent care to diverse populations. Requires LPC or LSW licensure, supervisory experience, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • A degree in counseling, social work, or chemical depenency
  • State licensure or certification as a Mental Health Counselor or equivalent (e.g., LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, LCDC II/III, LICDC)
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience with a strong clinical background
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues from diverse professional backgrounds to provide client-centered care
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also seeking supervision and consultation when needed
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage a caseload, maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct
