Job Summary
Provide on-site crisis intervention and assessments to individuals in emergency mental health situations within the community. Prioritize client safety, suicide prevention, and hospital diversion while supporting our mission to restore safety and reduce trauma impact through intervention and education. Deliver services in a community-based setting with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week (Wednesday through Saturday or Sunday through Wednesday, 9am to 7pm), including paid on-call shifts at overtime rates. Maintain a valid NYS driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with minimum state insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or other human service-related job field
- One (1) year of supervised experience (pre- or post-graduate) providing services to individuals in a mental health or human service setting
- Associate's degree in human services-related field from an accredited educational institution
- Minimum of three (3) years of applicable professional experience
- Valid NYS driver's license
- Access to a reliable vehicle with at least the minimum amount of automobile insurance required by New York State
