Job Summary
Mobile Catering Assistant role supports delivery of high-quality food and customer service across mobile catering units/sites. Responsibilities include assisting with preparation, cooking, and serving of food and drinks; traveling between designated sites; taking orders, handling payments, answering queries; maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety; assisting with setup/teardown of mobile units; operating equipment safely and reporting issues; supporting promotional activities and seasonal menu changes; and working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with flexibility and teamwork. Role is part-time (20 hours/week, term time only) with DBS checks required and a Full UK Driving License and own transport essential.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK Driving License and own transport essential
- Previous experience in a catering, hospitality, or customer service role is desirable
- Basic food hygiene knowledge or certification (training can be provided)
- DBS check including Children’s Barred List
