Job Summary
Conduct planned preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, and execute repairs on commercial and industrial boiler systems across London and the South East. Perform combustion analysis, gas safety inspections, and installations while maintaining vehicle stock and managing out-of-hours on-call rotations. Liaise directly with clients to provide technical advice and submit detailed work reports. Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations including Gas Safe and LOLER. Maintain company vehicles and tools in optimal working order.
Required Qualifications
- Full current Commercial Gas Safe accreditations including: COCN1 (Core Commercial Gas Safety), ICPN1 (Installation of Commercial Pipework), CIGA1 (Commercial Indirect Fired Heating Appliances), CDGA1 (Commercial Direct Fired Heating Appliances), TPCP1A or TPCP1 (Testing & Purging of Pipework)
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heating & Ventilation, Gas Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Mobile Boiler Engineer working on commercial/industrial boiler systems
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across a range of boiler manufacturers and types
- Full UK Driving Licence (clean preferred)
- Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations pertinent to boiler operations
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
Desired Qualifications
- CORT1 (Commercial Overhead Radiant Tubes & Appliances)
- Oil Fired Appliance qualifications (OFTEC)
- Unvented Hot Water qualification (G3)
- Basic electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) for boiler control
- Relevant manufacturer training certifications
