Job Summary
Provide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, and tire change services using established guidelines and quality control procedures. Deliver tow and recovery services, sell and install batteries, and test warranty services for members. Communicate effectively with members to ensure safety, make sound decisions regarding vehicle service, and enter call information accurately into in-truck technology while processing payments and completing reports. Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safe operating conditions and secure all fleet vehicles and equipment at all times. Operate passenger vehicles and light-medium duty trucks to perform these duties while supporting the brand through special events.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license for the state where you reside
- Ability to pass a physical examination as required by Department of Transportation and/or Company policy
- 3 years of experience in an automotive/mechanical environment
- 3 years of experience in a sales and/or customer service role
- Lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel and balance to change tires, inspect and to push vehicles
- Ability to use hand tools to provide service
- Satisfactory pre-and post-employment screening results, including criminal, drug and motor vehicle screening
- Ability to operate passenger vehicles and light-medium duty trucks (both manual and automatic transmissions)
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, via email and using assigned technology such as GPS
- Ability to successfully complete required departmental training courses within 60 days of hire
