Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to medium duty fleet vehicles while diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues. Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards, accurately document repairs, and complete work orders. Maintain a clean work area, follow all safety procedures, and collaborate with supervisors to support fleet operations. Requires 5+ years of hands-on experience, strong diagnostic skills, a valid driver's license, and ability to work independently or as part of a team in a mobile environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' of hands-on experience performing automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position
- Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)
- Ability to see and hear sufficiently to safely navigate the workspace
