Mobile Assistant Manager - Virginia

Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day resort operations at the Charlottesville-based site with travel to additional Virginia locations, leading staff, recruiting and onboarding, coaching team members, maintaining safety and cleanliness, managing labor and scheduling, driving customer satisfaction metrics, and supporting sales growth; ensure effective communication with regional and corporate teams; perform opening/closing duties and on-duty leadership responsibilities; require mobility and willingness to relocate or travel as business needs dictate.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required (college degree preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience in supervisory or management role
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to resolve conflict and engage with customers
- Detail-oriented and results-focused
- Ability to develop and train staff
- Prior leadership experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality operations or similar
- Previous experience in animal care or related field is preferred
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Comfortable around dogs and able to lift up to 60 lbs
- Flexibility to schedule including weekends and holidays
- Valid driver’s license and working vehicle
