Job Summary
Lead a team of mobile engineers, including iOS and Android developers using Xamarin, to deliver frequent releases of consumer-facing and medical device applications. Own significant software functionality within the cross-platform app framework while making architectural decisions to support multiple products. Work cross-functionally to build high-quality experiences, continually improve the BD UI framework, and integrate sophisticated algorithms through close collaboration with internal and external specialists. Adopt a lean start-up approach to test new concepts, implementing early feedback loops for continuous iteration. Serve as a technical leader and mentor to developers, guiding team growth and ensuring successful software delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Expert knowledge in mobile development
- Shipped one or more Xamarin based applications
- Understand UI and UX principles for mobile development on iOS and Android
- Have a strong intuition for mentorship, and invest in the growth of your team
- Have experience leading mobile application teams to successfully ship software
- Have professional experience regulated medical devices or apps
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- 5+ years mobile development experience with cross-platform development or a combination of native mobile and C#
- Prior experience managing mobile application development teams
- Experience with agile, lean practices and methodologies
- Hands on experience delivering extraordinary consumer UI to the App Store/Play Store
