Job Summary
Own product surfaces end to end, from identifying opportunities to shipping polished mobile experiences for iOS and Android. Build and ship prototypes, experiments, and production-ready designs using AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor. Improve the product daily by spotting friction, refining workflows, and raising the quality bar across interaction design, motion, and copy. Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to turn ideas into thoughtful experiences while talking to customers regularly to shape decisions. Design beautiful mobile interfaces considering ergonomics, touch targets, and small-screen constraints.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience designing, building, and shipping mobile apps that customers love
- Strong understanding of mobile design principles and ergonomics
- Familiarity with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines
- Familiarity with Google's Material Design
- A portfolio that shows product thinking, interaction design, and visual craft
- A product builder mindset with a desire to own experiences from concept to continuous improvement
- Curiosity about AI and excitement for designing products that don't yet have established patterns
- An eye for detail and a relentless drive to improve the product, even when no one asks
- Ability to take initiative and improve things without waiting to be asked
- Care deeply about quality and the details that make software feel effortless
- Use tools to automate repetitive work so you can spend more time solving meaningful problems
- Invest in getting better every week, whether that's design, AI, or how you work
- Communicate openly, give thoughtful feedback, and care more about finding the best answer than being right
- Have an internal compass and take accountability & initiative
