MOA/ Ophthalmic Technician

MOA/Ophthalmic Technician needed for a full-time maternity-coverage role in British Columbia, splitting duties between Chilliwack and Abbotsford. The position supports ophthalmology clinic operations and surgical centre activities, including greeting patients, billing and payments processing, appointment scheduling, clinical support to physicians, tracking lab results, and providing patient instructions for diagnostic testing. Ophthalmic testing skills such as visual fields, OCT imaging, auto-refractions, and non-contact tonometry are assets, with training provided if needed. Uses Accuro EMR and collaborates with the team to improve clinic workflows. Compensation is $19-$23 per hour.
