Job Summary
Security Officer to patrol premises, monitor entrances, secure exits, respond to alarms, and observe/surveil with CCTV systems. Requires valid St. Louis County security license, high school diploma, and prior security officer experience. Must have knowledge of legal guidelines for area security/public safety, be able to write reports, and be proficient with surveillance systems. Must be willing to work weekends; position involves in-person work with offices throughout the United States (Missouri focus for licensing). Benefits include dental, health, PTO, and vision.
Required Qualifications
- Valid St Louis County security license
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience as security officer or guard
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Familiarity with report writing
- Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
- Registered as a security officer
- Proven experience as security officer or guard
- Experience with CCTV systems (3 years)
- Internal audits experience (2 years)
- Unarmed Security License through St Louis County, Mo. (Required)
- Shift availability: Day and Night and Overnight (Required)
- Weekend work required (as per question)
- 3 years Unarmed Security experience (Required)
- 3 years CCTV experience (Required)
