Job Summary
The MMA Coach duties center on delivering a high-quality member experience while driving revenue through private and small group MMA training and supplement sales. Responsibilities include selling and conducting private training, managing client programs and measurements, supporting revenue-generating activities (private coaching, seminars, workshops, supplement booths), and maintaining a organized fitness floor. Candidate must conduct private MMA training sessions, be a brand ambassador for UFC Gym, adhere to schedules, communicate effectively with members and staff, and uphold safety and policy standards. Requirements include CPR/AED, UFC Gym-recognized certification with Pro-Am background, and a minimum of one year related experience, with a 4-year degree preferred and a high school/GED credential. The role emphasizes strong customer service, scheduling discipline, and the ability to meet monthly revenue objectives related to private coaching and supplements, with weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4-year degree in a related field recognized by UFC Gym (preferred)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Current DotFIT certification (preferred)
- Certification from organization recognized by UFC Gym and/or Pro-Am fight background
- LiveScan clearance
- TrustLine Certification
- State-specific certifications may be required
- Minimum 1 year of related experience
- Pro-Am fight background
- Extroverted/Self motivator/Customer service minded
- Ability to clock in/out for all shift times
- Strong customer service focus
- Knowledge of private training techniques and program design
- Knowledge of DotFIT software
- Computer proficiency with Word and Excel
- Ability to work weekends
- Lifting up to 45+ pounds
- Understanding and following instructions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
