Job Summary
The MMA Coach delivers member service and drives revenue through private and small group MMA training and supplement sales, conducts private MMA sessions, maintains training spaces, and supports revenue-generating activities (workouts, supplement booths, seminars). Requires delivering safe, effective private MMA training, scheduling as per MMA Manager, and acting as a UFC Gym brand ambassador while adhering to policies, liability documentation, and training standards. Must engage members, prospect for private coaching and sales, and maintain a positive, energetic, and professional demeanor. Weekend availability is required.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge, skills & Abilities: In depth knowledge of Private Training techniques from assessment to program design
- Working knowledge of dotFIT program and software
- Able to operate all Fitness Equipment
- Knowledge of company policies, practices and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude, customer service focus
- Clear and concise communication
- Organizational skills
- Record keeping practices
- Ability to operate office equipment (computers, calculators, fax, copiers)
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
- Weekend availability to work
- CPR/AED certification
- Certification from organization recognized by UFC Gym and/or Pro-Am fight background
- High school diploma or GED
- 4-year degree in related field (preferred)
- Current DotFIT certification (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year related experience
- TrustLine Certification
- LiveScan clearance
- State-specific certifications may be required
