Job Summary
MMA Coach responsible for delivering private and small group MMA training, driving supplement and coaching revenue, ensuring a positive member experience, and promoting UFC Gym’s Train Different philosophy. The role includes selling training sessions, executing prospecting strategies, facilitating guest tours, maintaining facility presentation, and reporting to the MMA Manager. Weekend availability is required and duties encompass safety, program design, and adherence to policies while supporting revenue goals for Private Coaching and Supplements.
Required Qualifications
- In depth knowledge of Private Training techniques from assessment to program design
- Working knowledge of the dotFIT program and software
- Ability to operate all Fitness Equipment
- Knowledge of company policies, practices and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Strong customer service focus
- Responds professionally to requests and inquiries from guests, members and staff
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Experience operating office equipment such as computers, calculators, fax and photocopiers
- Computer proficiency with basic skills in Word and Excel
- Ability to work, setup and execute successful weekends
- Extroverted/self-motivated/customer service minded
- Adhere to meal and rest break periods and clock in/out for all shift times
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Certification from organization recognized by UFC Gym and/or Pro-Am fight background
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 4-year degree in a related field recognized by UFC Gym (preferred)
- Current DotFIT certification (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of related experience
- TrustLine Certified
- LiveScan clearance
- State specific certifications may be required
