Job Summary
Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) sought for full-time, 36 hours/week, night shift (7pm-7am) at Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care in Sellersburg. Responsibilities include performing high-complexity testing, maintaining QC standards, generating accurate results, and following SOPs as part of an on-site laboratory suite within a hybrid ER/urgent care facility operating 24/7. Qualifications require a two-year diploma in biological/chemical sciences with Medical Laboratory Technology training (including Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology) and ASCP or AMT MLT certification within 6 months of hire. Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a two-year diploma or equivalent in any biological science or chemical science from an accredited/approved educational institution and successful completion of the Medical Laboratory Technology training program which includes Blood Banking (Immunohematology), Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology; OR A minimum of a two-year diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology which includes Blood Banking (Immunohematology), Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology.
