Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) with a minimum of a two-year diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent, including Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology. Certification as an MLT by ASCP or AMT within 6 months of hire. Responsibilities include performing high complexity testing, maintaining records of performance, and generating acceptable results in accordance with QC standards and accrediting bodies. Role is PRN in a hybrid emergency room and urgent care setting, with 24/7 ER coverage, on-site imaging and laboratory services. Requires knowledge of clinical laboratory science and the ability to operate under local, state, and federal rules; includes independent judgment in test result reporting.
