Job Summary
Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - Part-Time Days at Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care in Sellersburg. Performs high complexity testing, maintains records, and ensures QC within regulatory standards. Requires a 2-year diploma in Biological/Chemical sciences (Medical Laboratory Technology) with Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology, plus ASCP/AMT certification within 6 months of hire. Hybrid ER/urgent care environment with 7am-7pm shifts and 24 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a two-year diploma or equivalent in any biological science or chemical science from an accredited/approved educational institution and successful completion of the Medical Laboratory Technology training program which includes Blood Banking (Immunohematology), Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology; OR A minimum of a two-year diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology which includes Blood Banking (Immunohematology), Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology.
