MLT/MT/MLS - (3) 12 - HOUR SHIFTS

Medical Laboratory Technician/MT/MLS will perform routine and/or complex tests in hematology, serology, chemistry, bacteriology, and immunohematology using standard techniques and equipment. Responsibilities include receiving specimens, recording and reporting results, applying laboratory techniques to patient data, and performing other duties as assigned. May work evenings, nights, and weekends. Education path may be either MLT with an Associates degree or MT/MLS with a Bachelor's degree; certification by AMT or ASCP is required. Prior experience preferred. Physical demands include typical lab tasks and ability to work in a high-stress environment; safety and confidentiality are emphasized within a health-system setting.
